Hello, hope someone can help.

Does anyone know anything of a Robert Knowles Born Ulverston in approx 1787, cant find a baptism record. He married Ann Stewart in 1807. He died in Skerton Lancaster in 1864. His father was also called Robert Knowles, does anyone know anything about him to.

Looks like he married twice, with his 2nd wife being Jane. If I have the right man he appears with her on both the 1851 and 61 at Skerton.

Possible marriage details are: Robert KNOWLES & Jane IRELAND m. Preston 1849, 4Q, vol 21, pg 530
Lines: London, Middlesex
Silvester: Hampshire - Portsmouth
Manyard: Lincolnshire - Whaplode
Bradford: Bristol, Devon, Birmingham
Heard: Devon - Totnes, Bow
Joyner: Bristol
Tack: Ostend, Belgium
Maes: Ostend, Belgium

you are right about the above info, i was hoping someone knew of this person for a baptism etc. but it seems unlikely i will get any further. thanks again
