"The big deal for us is that this will take us out past 2 million pages on Papers Past, so we'll be having a wee celebration of this." (PapersPast post)
How did your "wee celebration" go, PapersPast?

Hi Charlie, the team haven't actually had the chance to drain a glass of bubbly over this yet, but we firmly intend to do so. It may even have to wait until after Family History Month, as things are pretty busy for me around this, but come fire, flood, or famine, there will be a "wee celebration".

Hi all - feel like a little diversion? Fancy putting your search skills to work? We've come up with a competition celebrating Papers Past's 2 millionth page - all entries go into the draw to win a Kobo e-book reader.
To enter, email us a link to a Papers Past article featuring your namesake (first name and/or last name and/or full name) - details here:
http://www.natlib.govt.nz/about-us/news/family-history-competition
Entries have started coming in already, I have to stay I've had an absolute blast reading some of the articles linked, there's been some great stuff dug up. We haven't put the details up on the PP site just yet, but I wanted to let you all know directly just in case you might want to enter.

Great competition but I fear it has made your site **incredibly popular** and hence the long search response times at present (2:10pm)

Sigh, unfortunately it still seems a bit uneven at the moment, but it feels like it's getting better.

Took ages to connect but when I did, only found five people with the same Christian name as me

Hi there,
Just wondering if there is any chance of the Lyttelton Times been extended from 1862. I know we have it at Christchurch library but not able to access it at this time. I am looking for years 1864, 1866, 1872, and 1874
Cheers
