You're very welcome, I'll pass this on to the rest of the team :-)

I just came across a "Returns of non-fatal accidents" list while looking for my paternal great grandfather, it's astonishingly gruesome reading. It almost seems bizarre that info that specific was tabled in Parliament, but there it is....

I've just found out how many first-class passes my ancestor passed to do with the School of Mines, what an added bonus that was.

Thank you very very much.

Yay!

When I was directed to look in the A to J's a short while back the incident of interest was one year outside of the parameters - now I just have to figure out who and what it was to take another look  ;)

Last year we launched the online version of the A to J's (Appendices to the Journals of the House of Representatives), with an intial 34-odd volumes from 1862-1879. It uses the same platform as Papers Past, so it's pretty straightforward to use, however there wasn't really enough content to be a significant genealogical resource at the time. ...

Has anyone else had trouble with the site?
I put in a family surname and got 3 results (for grandfather's uncle)- 1st 2 were fine but third one crashed and it was ages before I could get my computer to respond.
It was uncer Misc.: H-02 POLICE FORCE OF NEW ZEALAND (REPORT AND EVIDENCE OF THE ROYAL COMMISSION ON THE). Appendix to the Journals of the House of Representatives, 1898 Session I

Hi aghadowey,

I haven't had any problems, but then I haven't been on since yesterday.   Could be that they are having teething problems.   Paper Past will enlighten you no doubt in the morning.

Hi aghadowey,

Seems to be working okay for me as well, maybe it was just that particular file. :)
