We should have something online coming up in the next few months. Sadly, not "The Press", I hasten to add, but a noteworthy addition nonetheless.

... the Northland Papers? ie Wairoa Bell, or North Auckland Times? I know that the Dargaville museum hold hard copies of the latter.

Please add my vote for Northland papers, especially The Wairoa Bell, 'cos my gr-grandfather owned it! 

It's positively wonderful having the Auckland Star, but I'd also like to request any post-1900 Auckland publications, er ... apart from Truth. 
(It cracks me up seeing it now — it used to be banned at home.  )
