Congrats to all of you...I got goosebumps reading this thread!!  And this success story has given me new motivation to attack my brick walls..with Bomber Planes if need be!!!

The photos are wonderful too - very clear. Shame about the sticky tape (the effects of using this would have been unknown at the time), but it's nice to have them in the books, with names given to the men by your grandfather. Time is passing so quickly, and sadly there are not too many of these old boys still living, so these are precious documents.  ;D

Pilot Office Douglas Doyle was my fathers cousin, both were brought up in Greystones Co Wicklow Ireland. I would be delighted to have a picture of him. His brother went on to be Professor of Paediatric Medicine in Dublin (and taught me as a medical student).
