If you send them an email with the names and the dates of death, they are usually very helpful.

If you want any of your St Wilfrid's baptisms checked, send me a PM.

Sorry to jump into this post but I am researching family members baptised at St Wilfreds Hulme and due to the closure of the Central Library I have been struggling...... I know my Great Grandfather Thomas Price was baptised there in October 1878 but I am trying to reserach his siblings JOHN born 1883 and MARGARET A born 1888.......they were still living in Hulme at this time so should have been baptised there too.... any help greatly appreciated and again apologies for "butting" in !!!

Hi Pricey4848.

Found baptism information for Thomas in 1878, Margaritta Anna in 1887 and Maria in 1891  :D - parents John Price and Winifred Foy.  Will PM details.  No sign of a John born in 1883 though  :(.

Unfortunately, he won't be. St. Joseph's in Moston didn't open until many years after his death (although his sister and her husband are buried there)

Thanks.

Hi All

Thank you for all the bits of info.

Luzzu, thank you.

I might try emailing.  It didn't sound too promising at one stage but sounds as if you've had more success.

Best wishes
