« on: Sunday 29 May 11 17:24 BST (UK) »
Can anyone help this newbie? I seem to have lost my scratch remover in psp, it's not highlighting at all, one minute its there the next it has gone...am I missing something? is there something I can click onto to get it back?

Many thanks in advance.

Hi

I'm not sure which version you have but I've just checked on an old version and it only works on a flat file. Are you using Layers? It should tell you on the Layer palette.

Just merge to a flat file and it should appear.

I don't use it very much these days but hope this helps.

Hi Gnu..thank you, its an old version but I will give it a try...I do have the new one but my computer doesn't appear to like it, freezes up each time I have attempted to put it on here...

That's interesting.

I aquired PSP XI a few years ago and use it occasionally for picture frames (I was lucky to get a cheap version of Photoshop CS3).

I've just updated my Norton 360 package and a few days ago I had PSP XI open (doing nothing!)  and up popped Norton to tell me that PSP was using up too much CPU - never seen that before and I've got a pretty cool chip  ::)

Have you thought of using Photoshop Elements or the free Gimp software?

Skintones?

I used to play with them (bass player) when I was a teenager.

I've been using graphics programs since about 1991 - I think I was introduced to the first version of Photoshop by one of my photgraphy/4D  tutors but I've been involved with computing since 1966 and in Art since I was 3   ;D ;D ;D

Do you want to know more about skin tones?  If so pm me amd I'll try to help :)
