Hello MCC

I have found this baptism for a Joseph Cantrill , it took place at
St Peters Cathedral, Sheffield, on 14 /6 /1818
Father  Thomas. Mother Sarah

Accordingly, I found a marriage between Thomas Cantrill and Sarah Blithe which took place at Bradfield , Yorkshire 25 / 2 / 1818.....

Hope this is helpful...

Hi Jenny R

Thanks for the info, there seems to be so many Josephs amongst my tree  I could start a football team, I do have Thomas a Sarah with son Joseph but I can't for the life of me join the  two up with any certainty thats why I need to find a marriage for Joseph which should be to Ann according to the census'es , I could then perhaps get a witness or parent and perhaps some children (a little name comparrison never did any harm).  thank you once again for your valuable contribution.

I did notice 1851 census now available online, looks like I might invest my hard earnt shilling in a bit more research.
