Just expanding on Gerry's info...
Children other than Ebenezer are:
Elizabeth, 16, domestic servant, native of Temple Cloud, Somerset
David, 13, labourer, native of Launceston, Cornwall
Mary, 3, native of Bradford, York
Father David is native to Canterbury, Kent.
Mary Ann is native to Shepton Mallet, Somerset, and her parents details on the shipping record also have their surname - EVANS. Relative in the colony for Mary Ann is a brother William EVANS per
Winifred.
This appears to be mistake, her brother's name was James:
WinifredArr. 1 Nov 1856
James EVANS, 24, Woolcomber, native of Sutton, North Molton, Devon, parents William and Ann, mother at Bradford, Yorkshire (father is still a mystery), read and write
Martha EVANS, 23, native of Bradford, Yorkshire, parents John and Mary URQUHART, father at Bradford, neither read nor write
William, 3, native of Bradford, Yorkshire
Sarah, 1, native of Bradford, Yorkshire
No relatives in the colony.
I think it is James and Martha's marriage at Bradford in 1851 with Martha's surname as HACKETT
Debra
