bicester marriage
« on: Friday 27 May 11 00:34 BST (UK) »
Hello,
I looked on FreeBDM for a possible marriage of Henry Sawyer & Hannah Barrett abt 1850. Came up with 3 entries with the same reg. number on same page
Hannah Barrett
Elizabeth Howlett
Henry Sawyer    all Sep Quarter 1850 Bicester

Could someone please confirm the marriage of Henry & Hannah.

Thanks
Lyn

Hi Lyn.

Henry Sawyer married Hannah Barrett - 22 Sep. 1850.  HETHE District of Bicester.

Henry Sawyer Labourer of Hethe.  Son of John Sawyer.

Hannah Barrett, under age Spinster of Hethe.  Daughter of  Thomas, labourer.

Witnesses - Henry Haydon & Elizabeth Harrison.

In 1841 census he is with parents John(1781) & Hannah(1778).  Ploughley Hundred, Bicester.

Hope this helps a bit. ;)
