Did you ever find photos? My great-grandfather was an elder there and all the family attended, also my grandfather on the other side. phyl

There's a photo of it in a demolished state in David Lewis' book The Churches of Liverpool
have you tried Liverpool Record Office?

I know my mother used to take her young brothers and sisters out during the sermon and she used to take them for a walk in Anfield cemetery so it wasn't far from there. My grandfather was Sunday school superintendant, and his second wife used to play the piano for the classes. If you had family there in 1913 they must have known one another. My grandmother ( first wife) died in 1913 and Grandad met his 2nd at church. Phyl

It was located in Everton Valley near the junction with Walton Lane. Across the road from St Chad's, Notre Dame and Chadwick Mount Congregational Church. On this map Notre Dame is "Convent" opposite Notre Dame "convent" on the other side of the road is the Presbyterian Church:-

brilliant thank you for that - if it works, the google streetview is taken from Royal Street looking towards Notre Dame Catholic College, across the former location of the church - correct me if I'm wrong - ta!
