Pilkington family in Lincolnshire
« on: Wednesday 25 May 11 20:50 BST (UK) »
Is anyone researching the Pilkington family in the Lincoln area including Boston, St Swithin, Spalding?
Names of interest - Levi Pilkington 1811 - 1855; Levi Vickers Pilkington b abt 1936; Levi Westfield Pilkington b abt 1835; Joseph Pilkington b abt 1843. I can't seem to get further back than 1811 and there are quite a few holes for me to close!   ???

Thanks

Emma

As he married in 1826, he was probably born before 1811.
11 Nov 1826 St Swithin, Levi PILKINGTON to Sarah VICKERS

This seems a likely baptism http://tinyurl.com/3pevho4

Likely marriage, 1791 St Peter in Eastgate (Lincoln), William PILKINGTON to Susanna MOSS
Today I broke my personal record for most consecutive days alive.

Thanks Larkspur - I haven't come across that area just yet but I will make a note for when/if I do and certainly get in touch if there is any occurrences. This too is my husband's family and every new discovery is wonderful for him. At the moment the search seems to centre on Boston, Spalding, Ecceshall and Grimsby areas.
