« on: Wednesday 27 April 05 11:05 BST (UK) »
Thomas William Turner of Hale Street and Jane Sheeham of Devon Street, both of full age, married in 1852 at St.Pauls, Liverpool.

Could someone check on 1851 census?

Fathers names are John Turner and Thomas Sheeham(both alive)

2 witnesses are Charlotte and Matilda Turner.

many thanks
Hugh

Hi

There is no Jane Sheeham or Sheehan on the 1851 index.  There is no Thomas Sheeham either but there is a Thomas Sheehan who was a reporter.  WWhat was her fathers occupation on her marriage cert?

Only one William J Turner aged 20 baker/flour dealer employing 1.  Born Nth Bugbrook (wherever that is).  In lodgings as no other Turner in the family group.

There are a lot of other William Turners - what was his occupation on his marriage cert.

No Matilda Turner

Are you sure they originated from Liverpool and didn't just marry there.  Have you found them on any other census?
