I'm having problems getting the Automated Genealogy site to work but at Ancestry I found George Archibald in Bastard and Burgess, Leeds County on the 1901 census. He was living alone. On the census it indicates he was 29, his birth date was 14 Mar 1872 (not unusual for it to be off a year) in Scotland, his immigration year was 1896 (although it could be a really badly written 8, not a 9) and he was a labourer.
He was in Crosby South Township, Elgin Village, Leeds County in 1911. Still living alone, he was listed as 39, born Mar 1872 in Scotland, immigration year 1886 and he was a labourer.
