Hello,

I drove up to Pica yesterday ,and it made me decide its about time I started really  researching the paternal branch of my family,,

I haven't huge amounts to go on but here they are ,

1881 census,9 Whitfield Crescent Workington,RG11/5178
Robert Gunning,married, aged 40 ,labourer in the iron works, boarder,
John aged 16,
George aged 13, all born Ireland

1881 census Infirmary Whitehaven,RG11/5185
Mary Gunning,patient ,formerly domestic servant ,born County down,married aged 44,blind,


Mary Cecilia White married Robert in Donaghadee,Presbyterian church, Northern Ireland, before coming across with the family to Cumberland,

What I would like to know,or ask is, if anyone can look up for me where she would have been buried ,her death is recorded as Cecilia Gunning aged 62 ,December 1895 Whitehaven,
her husbands is recorded in Cockermouth March 1887 Cockermouth aged53,

Hi,  If you ring Whitehaven cemeteries on 01946 692329, you can ask for the cemetery record of Celia.  They will send you the burial details and a map of where the grave is.  Morskaj.
