When I burn a cd, at the finish the programme asks whether

I want the cd to play on any device or on that computer

only. If you want security for the contents it will only play on

the computer that you burn it on it, if you select this computer

only.  It will not be read by any other device.

It you click on the any device button, then it

will play on anything without problem.

This may or may not be the answer depending on what burning

    programme that you are using.

This is a burning programme on my computer. I have several but as I rarely

burn anything I tend to stick to a drag to disc programme.

As you can see these are the options given for burn or rip music.

I would suggest that you use this program and select the second option for MP3.
