Hi All,
So many good suggestions. Thank you all for the tips. It seems to be that I am missing the forest for the trees. I have been very close to the problem for some time now, so I just miss the obvious.
To RunKitty, I should have thought of that

. I can certainly order books on interlibrary loan if needed.
To vbain, I see you found my website about the Halls family, From the Halls of Devon. I hope you enjoyed poking around. I have had a busy winter semester, so haven't done much with it lately, but I hope to add more updates over the summer. Regarding the 1851 census showing Margaret Halls. Did the page you look at have Samuel, Margaret, James, etc.? That is the only one I could find with the reference you gave me. Altogether there were 11 Halls on that page between lines 15 and 27, including my ggg and gg grandfather. If it was some other page please let me know.
To JJ, once again I should have though of that

. If Margaret Godbolt is related to the Peel county Godbolts she could very easily have been buried there.
I do appreciate all the tips, and will let you know what I find. Please keep them coming.
Thanks,
James aka Nettopsey or Nets
