Google L25 6EG    and you should be able  to see the school on Google Earth.

SFX was right opposite my old school in Shaw Street - Liverpool Collegiate which, after being derelict for some years, was sensitively converted by Urban Splash into very upmarket executive appartments.

Despite the fact that we were proddies, I don't believe there was ever any acrimony between the two establishments, even when the Orange and other processions progressed along Shaw Street.   
ABEL(L), 18c, Winstone GLS and around

GIBBINS, all, Miserden GLS and around
HAGUE, mainly Malton, YRK but they got around
HAVILAND etc, 17-19c, Winstone GLS and around

Hi :)

Thank you all for the amazing replies.

There's been a lot going on   with family here and I've also been offline.  I've finally had a few minutes to have a really good look at the pictures too and I'll do prints for family.

It was the old school WW2 we were asking about but we're interested in what happened to the school establishment as well as the building, so Thank You!:) for all the links.

I want to have a closer look at the photo of the children.
