Does anyone have any information about Samuel Padget of Silkstone. Married Ann Goodinson, second wife, in 1846. Lots of children between them. Looking for dates of death and parents names.

When was he born?  Have you checked the IGI as there is a likely entry under surname Paget

Do you have a copy of the 1846 marriage cert showing his fathers name

Her surname was Goodison - not Goodinson - and the marriage is on www.yorkshirebmd.org.uk and took place at  St Peters in Leeds

Christened 1st. March 1814 Silkstone to James & Martha Paget.

These are Samuel's siblings.
Ann,1800,Pannal,Yorks.
Mary,1802,Pannal.
Thomas,1804,Silkstone
Richard,1810,do
Joseph,1812,do
Charles,1817,do
Parents James & Martha Paget.
Marr:
James Paget = Martha Denton,4/9/1798/Wragby,Yorks.
Samuel's 1st. marriage in 1836 won't give father's name as this is pre Civil Registration.
There are these deaths:
James Paget buried,9/2/1833,aged 62
Martha Paget buried,17/9/1834,aged 59
Both Silkstone.

On Samuel & Anns marriage certificate her father is given as John Morgan. Anns surname is Rhodes Morgan Goodison. I have been told that her mother was Judith Rhodes but have been unable to verify this yet. Are there any local records to confirm this?

What I've found so far re. Ann is that she married William Goodinson,15/7/1832,Rotherham & is listed as Ann Morgan Rhodes which gives the impression she was illegitimate & therefore unable to take her father's surname.Often in such cases the mother would give the father's name as a middle name in order to stay within the law.
