Well these houses look old enough to have been there at the time, these type of houses are maybe c late 1880's ish give or take a few years, don't think they would be before 1880, but I stand to be corrected on this.

Any pics of what was the nursing home where Lavinia was in 1901??? is that the area you mentioned abt the numbers now being in numerical order as the other side of street has "disappeared"??

Cannot say any more due to restrictions on 1911 census

Bendywendy these are the houses in Beverley now numbered 1,3, 5 etc, as peviously stated I think the 1901 census does not give the house number but the number the property is on the schedule

What evidence have you got that Joseph Watson lived at Chalk Villa, it may be enough to persuade the people who live there now to let me enter the property and take some better photographs
