Can any one help ? By October 1945 my Dad was in Singapore with 273 Squadron after arriving from Bangkok. By November 45 he was to go to 3 Release centre (RC),Home Establishment (HE )Would this have the last base he was at in the UK ?

Yes, the Release centres were where service personnel officially got demobbed. They handed in any equipment and uniforms they had, and got their discharge papers, demob suit and any monies that maybe owed to them.

Thanks kyt , he was at 2 PDC before he was sent to SE Asia. Do you know where this was ?

2 PDC was at Wilmslow, Cheshire.
