I'm interested in finding out as much as I can about The Robinson family. I have  traced back to Verner Robinson born 1819  Charley (Charlemont) in the parish of Loughgall in County Armagh,  but unable to go back more!! Verner Robinson was in the Royal Artillery and married  Mary Ann Laking who came from Corfu
Does anyone have any information about the Robinson family or can you point me in the right direction.

he seems to be on all the english censuses from 1841 .

from a tree on ancestry .

Marriage:  23 Oct 1840 - Kent 
Parents:  Samuel Robinson   
Spouse:  Mary Ann Lakin

have you searched kew for his army papers ?
costs about 40stg to get a researcher to do it for you

no baptism record on the rootsireland website

could his dad have been in army also ? if so his birth could be reg in the overseas births .
