1821/31 census or baptism: Frederick White b.1820 Pentonville
« on: Monday 16 May 11 05:20 BST (UK) »
Frederick White b.1820 Pentonville or Marylebone, residence all adult life in Marylebone. Had his own hairdressing business. Sister Julia White b.1838.

Can anyone see who his parents/Dad was from the 1821 or 1831 census or baptism records?

Other info:  He may or may not have married Mary Smith in the area, as she was not from London. First son was baptised Holy Trinity, Marylebone and another son married at St James, but one daughter was married in St Matthew's Church (Pancras).

I can see Julia's marriage to Richard ANDERSON in Whitechapel St Mary 1858.  She was a minor and her father was William WHITE Hair Dresser.

Thanks Karenlee. This line of my family don't seem to have moved out of the area in 100 years! Is there any easy way for me to be able to access Parish records like these?

Hi Brioney

You haven't updated your profile so we don't know where in the world you are.

The majority of Anglican parish registers have been deposited for safekeeping at the London Metropolitan Archives,

If you can get there and don't have a subscription to Ancestry, check out your local library. They may have a subscription for free access to Ancestry Library Edition and you can find a lot of the LMA parish registers on there.
