Arthur and Susan McGough

I am looking for information on Arthur and Susan McGough.  Arthur was born in 1756, and Susan was born in 1765. They were married in 1784.  I do not have a last name for Susan. Arthur's father may have been Thomas.

The dates you are looking for are well before the start of civil registration of births, deaths and marriages and unforunately many early records simply don't exist. The usual resource is church records, if they go back far enough, but you need to know both the family's religion and where they lived to start searching for any records.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Unfortunately, that is all the information I have on them. I know the Irish records hard to come by. A lot of the records were destroyed.  I have been researching my father side of the family from county Down.  I was hoping someone reading this would have additional information.  So I can try to go back farther.
