New to this and do not know yet how else to get in touch with you. Could not reply to your post that I am referring to. You mentioned the name Henrietta Masaroon and wondering your relation to her.

Bob -- thanks for the heads up!

Lainie:

My Henrietta Massaroon was born c1822, the daughter of Robert Massaroon and Olivia Gayer. She died Q1 1897 in Belfast, having married, on 26.5.1847 in Dublin, John Donald. They had five children I know about.

Does this sound familiar? If so, I've probably got other info you're interested in.

Hello,

Am researching the Masaroon family, and Henrietta is of particular interest.
Would appreciate any information.

Cheers,

Hi Ventry

I think you need to post three times before you can send or receive personal messages. If you post some more, we can exchange email addresses and I can send you some more information.

Yes, there's a veritable menagerie of weird names in my extended family. How do you relate to the Masaroons? I'm actually descended from the Gayers, and a side relative (can't remember offhand whether a sister, niece or someone further away and I've just shut FTM down for the night) of one of my Gayer ancestors married into the Masaroons.

Well, how interesting, I am also a Gayer descendant.  We must get together and compare information.

This is my third entry.  What next, then, to have private conversations?

Cheers,

Ventry

I've sent you a PM, Ventry. You should get a notification at the top of the forum screen when you're logged in, as well as notification to your email. You can either reply using the buttons below my message, like posting on the forum, or click on the green scrolly thing underneath my name alongside any of my posts.
