Hi,

I'm just book marking in case I can be of help with photos of Sunbury or local history as I only live 20 minutes away and it is the town I shop in at least once a week.

Cheers, Ted

Hi Ted

I do not have access to Sunbury Cemetery Records (though I am thinking of redressing that soon ;) )

I wonder what would show up there to help dazza, if one could inquire.

There isnt any more information on Thomas Watts father of Fred watts?? dazza

You have mentioned this a few times now and it should be pointed out that there are many "THOMAS WATT's" in Victoria and helpers will be searching for the right man to best of ability ;D

My apologies Sue.

I dont have any further information to go on here. I am the first person to invesigate my nan's side of the family so finding information is difficult.

Fred Watts and his wife Mary are buried at the Sunbury Cemetary. That is how I got their information. that is all i know about my nan's family.
The Sunbury cemetary goes back to 1840's so it might be a good idea to include it on your list.

I know Fred Watts was the Secretary of the Sunbury Agricultural society from 1916 to his death in 1936 and they have the Fred Watts Memorial Trophy in place as an award for excellence given to people from the S.A .Society.

Ty so much to everyone so far with your assistance,  it means alot to me.
It looks like i might get stuck here on Thomas Watts, all i have is that he may have lived in the Fryers town area during the 1830's to the 1860's as the first of his 8 children were born there.
 :) :) :)

Hi dazza,
You need to go back and carefully re-read your thread. You are misunderstanding some sections

I do not think right THOMAS WATTS, the father, was in Australia....though there are many...

I have apologised for the error I made in posting the WRONG birth of a Frederick.  This means the whole family of this Thomas and Emily is not yours. I was mistaken.

See Reply #15 from JANET for the marriage in ENGLAND of Fred and Mary and the possible birth there also of Doris.

Janet's findings are very likely indeed to be correct and the way to confirm is to purchase the English marriage certificate, or the birth certificate for the DORIS.

As ALICE WORMALL was THOMAS' unmarried sister-in-law, this is probably the marriage of THOMAS and ELIZABETH
