I'm interested in Cuthbert Hickman as a member of the NZEF.  Do you have a photo of him, as I might have but no names attached.  need something to compare.
Have you got Cuthberts war records from NZ Archives, free off the net. See 2 files.

If you want to know about Serjeant, Frank Henry Charles Hickman. Service Number, 390298. Regiment, London Regiment (Queen Victoria's Rifles) I would like to suggest the Great War Forum.

They were very helpful when researching my soldier and being more specialist might be able to shortcut you to the relevant war diary and perhaps the action that got him the MM is mentioned.

Thanks for the tip Whiteout7, I'll certainly follow that up.

Ven, since you last asked me that question in 2013 I have acquired a photo of him as a child of about 7 - 9 according to the annotation, which might be OK for comparison. If you can message me with an email address I could send you a copy. There doesn't seem to be an attachment option for P.M.'s
