While I am 'here' I will add a request for any info. regarding a Sabatiello Ferraro, who arrived in Devonport in time to marry Elizabeth Williams in 1809
( East Stonehouse), from his native Naples.
He allegedly joined Nelson's Navy, and then remained based in UK.
It is his life before 1809 that I am desperate to learn about.....his dob, parents etc. etc.
Probably no-one knows.......but someone just might have a clue or two. I don't really need any info post 1809 as I have him fairly well tidied up !
