Ost family in 1760s Wicklow
« on: Wednesday 11 May 11 17:41 BST (UK) »
I am researching the Ost family in Ireland in the 1700s and 1800s. They appear ( from where ? ) in Wicklow around 1760.
- Trying to find a connection between the Wicklow group and the family of a James Ost, who were baptised in Cork in the 1820s.
Is anyone else looking for Osts?

All info eagerly awaited, in order to overcome a twenty year sticking point!
Many thanks.....................Kilmeny

I have just found out that my grandmother's mother was Hannah Ost, father John Ost. She married Edward Walker in Bray 13/11/1860. She had a brother John.
Could this be the same family? They are from the Wicklow area.
