My grandmother was Agnes Lemon before she married my grandfather Thomas Black.  Her sister was Bella Lemon (possibly Isobel)  They lived in Mossvale Street, Shankill ward before and after her marriage post 1911. I have not been able to trace any other information and wondered if there is any connection to the Lemon family you refer to.

Agnes was born Dec.1884, her father's name was John and she had about 8 brothers/sisters, including John, Robert, Willliam,Ellen, Matilda,Mary,Violet and Bella.  Bella married a Joseph Gray.  I don't have any information about the other sibling marriages nor do I have Agnes' mother's name.

I have looked at a old family bible, here are dates that I have and you can see if any match up..GGgrandad Robert Lemon, married Eliza Heron. Robert was born in 1845 died 10.09.1908.  Eliza was born 1845 died 23.01.1918.  Children, george 8.4.1875,robert 11.12.1876, william 5.4.1880, john barron 11.5.1883.  George died 29.11.1876,  My grand father was John.  They lived in the shankill area,  In the 1911 census eliza lived in Glenfame Street,Shankill Ward.   also have a copy of a  Robert married to Matilda 1911 census living in 10 rusholme street, shankill.   Most of the lemons in my family are buried in the belfast city cemetry..  Do you live in northern ireland.  it would make it much easier, as i live in wales....please can you see any link?

I can't make a connection between the two Lemon families. My grandmother's brother John was born 1874 and married a Margaret Bennett, Robert born 1879 and married Jane Cavan, William born 1881 (spouse unknown).  I thought Lemon was an unusal surname but maybe not.
