who lived at this address in 1940`s

Does anyone know how I can find out who else lived at 63, Stiby Road, Yeovil, in the 1940`s ?   I have a Frederick Gould in family tree and this address was on his death certificate.

Hello Catwoman1,

The usual ways to search for an address would be to use the Street, or Trade, Directories which tend to be published annually. The other method is the Electoral Roll (Voters' List) for the address in question.

You may be in difficulty for the 1940s which covered the years of WW2 as most of these publications did not appear then.

These would be held in the Somerset Record Office and some libraries.
