Can anyone give me directions to the Kilnenor Cemetery near Gorey?  Is it a functioning cemetery that you can walk in to read the headstones? Thanks

According to Brian Cantwell's work, it is situated up a short lane about 1.5 miles to the west of Ballyfad on the Pallis road.

There's a graveyeard marked on the OSI maps at about the right location - it's in the townland of Glebe about 2 km west of Ballyfad.

  Ballyfad to Glebe   (Google maps)

  Glebe burial ground   (OSI map)

There are some Kavanagh's buried there. Some are related to the Greene's of Knockgreany, Coolgreany and Ballyfad

I was up there a month or 2 ago.

Intriguing little cemetery.  NOT easy to find.

near Ballyfad, Co. Wexford   (google maps satellite view)

If you follow the above google maps link, you'll see the location.  The cemetery is the irregularly shaped plot surrounded by trees - there's a stone with the cemetery name engraved on it at the bottom of the track.

Good luck!

Thank you for that. My 3rd Gt grandfather is buried there (Simon Creane/Greene of Knockgreany). He is also mentioned on the memorial stone put up in Coolgreany in 1998, memorial for the United Irishmen in 1798.  I am still trying to find out if he was arrested and executed along with his son Michael.  Do you know where I might find any details on those who were executed?
Thank you for the map
Best wishes
