Do you have any further information about when James or Bridget Cox were born or when any of them went to the US?

Hey, James was born 20.05.1886, parish Roosky, Roscommon.
I don't have a DOB for Bridget, However i know she was younger than Patrick but older than James and Joseph.
So between 1881 and 1885. My mother thinks abt 1884, but not sure.

My mother remembers her grandfather saying James was nicknamed Sonny Connor, because he spent a lot of time with his granny Connor.

Im not sure of immigration, he is in the 1901 census but not the 1911. Bridget is not in any of the census in Ireland.

hey just an update on the above family, I have found Ellen Kate GGGrandson, he wrote a post on a forum 10 years ago then give up on his research. however 10 years later i seen it and after months of trying to get in contact, i did through the world of social networking.

He came to Ireland in April, and met the family. It was great.

So just a note to say to people, NEVER GIVE UP.

P.S Still looking for the others lol
