Late to the party. I have Milroys in Queen St Newton Stewart in 1880s to early 1900s. My 2nd great grandmother was Jessie Milroy (Dodds). She lived in 29 Queen Street in the 1881 with her son John, my G Grandfather. He married Isabella McClelland and they lived in Church Street in 1891 and Princes St in 1901. Jessie was in 31 Queen St at that time. In 1901 her address was Queen St backhouse. She died in 1904 in Queen St. Hope this helps.
