thanks for the help everyone. Isabell rudd was my grandmother, Rudd was her adopted name. She then married my grandfather also named rudd . I am going to try and go back further now with the dixon link so once again any help would be gratful

There is a tree on Ancestry that has Daniel Dixon's mother as Elizabeth Dixon and his grandmother as Jane Dixon.

I think this is the family in 1861
