 Hi :),  I m trying to find infromation on a Jane Knight born in 1768 in either Crowhurst in Surrey or Lingfield in Surrey.

           What I'm trying to find out is who her mum and dad was and any brothers and sisters.  She was married to a William Gatland I think.

Where have you got the information about her birthplace from?

And, this is of not much use to you as I'm not there anymore, but I was brought up in Sanderstead and went to Warlingham shopping for decades.

I think we need a little more information  as has been  suggested as this is such a common name.

Do you know when and where she married.  ???

I cant see a baptism for her on the IGI or Pilot search,or FreeReg  she may have been a widow when she married   :-\

   She married William Gatland on the 23rd dec 1789 in Crowhurst, Surrey.
