Is there any chance that some of them were still births?

When I found my ggrandparents grave, there daughter Sarah (of no Age) and referred to as an infant on the gravestone, was buried with them.

I have also found in my family from that area, that they called all their children by their middle name...thank goodness for the 1911 census as I wasn't able to confirm any of the births.

Was the Sandra Tabitha you found on BMD called by her middle name of Tabitha by the family?

Hi Amber

They may have been stillbirths I don't really know. Thats all I was aware of is that my sister Marylyn always said that we had 2 further sisters and 1 extra brother. I know Sandra only lived for a month so I don't know is she was called Tabitha, it may have been that if there was a sister called Tabitha that died they may have wanted Sandra to have Tabitha in her second name to remember her. I only wished my parents were more open about things because I have children and I know I would want them to know if they had a further siblings.

I appreciate your help anyway.

The marriage on Ancestry shows the mothers maiden name as Wood but on checking the births the mothers maiden name for the children you quote the MMN is Woods
Raymond M Webb June Q 1938 Pontypridd mmn Woods
Arthur D Webb b March q 1942 Pontypridd died March Q Pontypridd mmn Woods
Sandra T Webb born June q 1947 Pontypridd mmn Woods died June Q 1947 Pontypridd
Marylyn C Webb born March Q 1949 mmn Woods
Yourself born June Q 1957 mmn Wood.

There are no births for John Webb for the period mmn Wood or Woods and no deaths during the same period for John Webb under 10 years old

Hi Selwyn

Thanks for looking further into this, it seems that my sister may have got it wrong, but she was certain there were other children born before her besides the ones you mentioned. We may never know unless someone who new my parents back then may know, but my parents would have been 95 now so it seems unlikely anyone is left who new them.  I do appreciate your help in trying to trace my family, and thanks to everyone else who tried.
