Burials at Colmore & Aston
« on: Sunday 01 May 11 21:21 BST (UK) »
Could anyone advise on sources & locations for burials at Colmore and Aston.

I'm looking for:

1. Thomas Orme, died St Thomas's 25 December 1869, aged 74 years.
2. John Easthope, died at Aston 8 September 1900, aged 74 years.
3. Caroline Easthope, died at Aston Union Workhouse 8 April 1906, aged 79 years.
4. George Easthope, died at Colmore 19 September 1938, aged 74 years.

All help is appreciated.

Thomas Orme is probably interred at St.Thomas's,John at Witton Cemetery,Caroline probably the same in a pauper's grave.
When you say Colmore do you mean Colmore Row B'ham

Jim,

Thankyou for that.

George died in Colmore Sub-District of Birmingham, at 77 Dudley Road.  Thats all from his death cert.

I made an error with death year, it was 1933 rather than 1938.

Just to update,77 Dudley Rd. was in fact Dudley Rd. hospital.

Thanks for that information.  I'd would not have considered a hospital to have such a simple address.

Also, the 'occupation' section of George's death cert states he was 'of 88 Berners Street, Birmingham', which was the address of the daughter-in-law that registered his death.
