FRASER/POPLE - Hants or Somerset

Looking for the parents of Alice Fraser born in Hampshire in 1856.  Alice married Harry or Henry Pople in Jul Qtr 1899.  I am also keen to know if his name by birth was Henry or Harry??  I appreciate any help.  Thank you.

I think you have obtained her birthyear from the 1911 census.  Using only the free index shows 2 children one of whom was only born in 1909

If she was b 1856 - she would have been far too old to have had a child in 1909

Suggest you check the full 1911 image as I suspect she was probably either 25 or 35

Husband was Henry and he is shown as 38yrs old so Alice is probably 35 and should therefore be on the 1881 census which is free to search yourself at

Dorchester is the registration district which covers Cerne Abbas.
