I am a relation of George Ferguson, also buried at Ardchattan graveyard and I see you have researched his family too. I have more info on his siblings although I don't know if you are interested in that?
I noticed that Duncan Ferguson (c1901 - 1959) married a Mary Francis Smith Ferguson. George Ferguson's mother was Mary Frances Smith, this name appears in subsequent generations (sometimes spelled Francis). I was wondering if they are related to the other Ferguson family, sounds like an unlikely coincidence for that name to appear twice in Archattan and not to be linked.
