Hi, I am trying to trace relatives of John Berchmans Lynch who stayed in England following world war 2, after having lived in Australia.

I presume John Lynch was in Wiltshire - do you have a place name?

If it is the right person then there is a death in Bristol which might also be him.

Thanks for the help so far, John Berchmans Lynch is My great grandfather and until recently had no knowledge of him as it was not known what became of him.  He left Australia when my nana was only 6 years old and she never knew him as her own mother had died when she was 5 and so she was raised by her grandmother. He married gertrude charlotte steadman in 1918 and I would like to know if they had children.

Sorry for the delay in replying but not long been home from work.

I found the death on Ancestry. To get more details you would need to order the certificate using the details from the previous message from the GRO.
I will see if I can see any possible children. If I find any I will PM you in case they are still alive.
