I'm sorry but I can't help with the birth date of Alexader Kirkbride.
But there is something odd with regards to his marriage to Agnes Hodgson.
Alexander Kirkbright (thats how it is spelt on the PR) of Aysgarth married Agnes Hodgson of Dent at Aysgarth on Sept 12th 1768.
Witnessed by Richard Bell and Wiliam Sadler.
But there is no record in the local PR's of any children to this marriage in the 18 years they were married.
Did they move out of the area ?
But after the marriage of Alexand Kirkbride of Camshouse to Mary Webster of Askrigg at Hardraw on Oct 13th 1792, there are 6 baptism registered at Hardraw and Askrigg to this couple.
Alexander Kirkbride of Camshouse was buried at Askrigg July 16th 1808.
No age given.
His wife, Mary (Webster) of Askrigg was buried July 5th 1829 at Askrigg aged 59.
Alexanders first wife Agnes (Hodgson) of Camshouse was buried May 17th
No age is given.1786 at Askrigg
My link to this family is thru Alexander's second wife, Mary Webster bap at Inglbyeas April 25th 1771.
She was the 6th child of James Webster and Dorothy (Cloughton) who married Oct 20th 1745 at Askrigg.
The Cloughton's are in my line and go back to William Cloughton born c 1620.
