Hi Sheila

Welcome to Rootschat.

Can you give us a little more information so that we know we are on the right family. Your information is vague for a good search.   Do you know how old William was when he died in Galipoli, and do you know what part of Lancashire he came from. Was he married or do you know what his parents were called????  Its just a little more information that could get us in the right place, right fellow you want

Thanks

Hi Shiela

Your great grandfather William was my Grandfather , my father being Harry born 28th April 1898 , my mother May was his second wife , I know father lost track of his sisters Lillian and Ethel but was reunited with I believe Ethel in 1979/1980 shortly before his death, recall Ethel lived around the Grey Mare Lane area of Manchester with family in Audenshaw, we may have information that we can share ---- Harry Varley
