Evans
« on: Tuesday 26 April 11 13:56 BST (UK) »
I am looking for information on George Lloyd Evans, son of Mary Ann (Sullivan) Evans, reportedly from Ireland. George was born April 1914.  He married Phyllis Gwendoline Jane Higgs June 5, 1935 in Cardiff.  They had a daughter Patricia Margaret Evans, but divorced when she was an infant.  He is my grandfather and I would love to get information on he and his family line.  Family lore states George had a twin sister, Hilda.  Also siblings Agnes, Reginald, and Albert.  Any information regarding this line would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you for all your help.

Freebmd has the following Evans/Sullivan births in Cardiff

Qtr Jun 1912 Hilda Evans 11a 884
Qtr Jun 1914 George L Evan 11a 814
Qtr Jun 1914 Hilda Evans 11a 814 (same reference as George L so possibility of a twin)
Qtr Sep 1914 Reginald Evans 11a 965
Qtr Sep 1918 Thomas Evans 11a 798

Cant see a death of a Hilda Evans between 1912 and 1914 so possibility may not be yours (as some of others may not be yours if there is more than one family with combination of Evans/Sullivan)

If so you may be able to find them on 1911 census - we are not allowed to do look ups for that census -but you can search the index free
