Post 1901 records are a bit more difficult as they are not always readily available.   You can look for this yourself on either FreeBMD or ancestry.com which have some, though not all deaths on free.   Otherwise all deaths are on www.1837online.co.uk   You have to pay to search it but as you know the place and approximate date it should not take too long.   Your local LDS centre may have the films of BMDs that you can search free.
