Hello Keith,

Checking the passenger lists both Isabella and Mary appear on a 1895 passenger list (typo error perhaps  ;)) both described as ladies maids. Not finding either on the 1900 Census so perhaps they could have married by then.
One of the other passengers listed under them was Mrs Gule, described as a lady, so perhaps they were travelling with that party. Not to easy to decipher the name Gule and there are 3 children underneath called Yule - have you tried to find this family to see if it throws any light on things ?

Regards
Sandra

http://www.rootschat.com/links/0cwv/

There's a death notice for Isabella Blair from 1967 in a Yonkers newspaper at www.fultonhistory.com, but there doesn't appear to be anything in it to rule her in or out as your Isabella aside from a middle initial of M.

Wait - I found a longer obit there & her parents were Richard Wakefield and Jean Mair.  She was survived by a son, as well as a nephew with the surname Wakefield in Yonkers.
