Hi Stuart

Richard born 1786 in Godstone is not on any of the Roffey trees I have (I have my own and sight of two passed to me by other Roffey researchers.  However he has to fit in somewhere.

Do you have any other information about him that might help to track him down?  I presume you don't have his baptism?

Kerry

Hi,I have a Victor A.W Roffey b,Croydon 1910 d,1989 Surrey who married my great aunt Daisy Ivy Simpson in Croydon 1934,Daisy came from Lavenham Suffolk.Just wondered if you had any info on this, thanks Neil.
Hi Neil

I have had a look for Victor on the trees I have sight of and he doesn't appear on any of them.  However I have a hard copy ancestor chart from a contact that is not on my tree ( a bit too removed from me) and will dig it out over the weekend and see if he appears.

Kerry

Just checked and he doesn't appear on the paper copy either.

No baptism, although other Ancestry trees suggest August 1875. Census records from 1851 give Godstone as his place of birth.

He married Hannah Elllis in Godstone on April 7th 1807, and moved to London by 1812. He was a bricklayer.

Hello Luc
Richard ROFFEY was the son of Michael ROFFEY, who was my g-g-grandfather's youngest brother.
I have seven children for Richard and Eva: Eva, Annie Nellie, Minnie, Maggie, Edward, and Henry.
I haven't looked for their children yet.
