To save duplicating what you have do you have her on census at all if so when/where.

I think that Louisa is Williams sister. I think. Both Louisa and William are born in Hull around the same time

I think that obtaining the marriage certificate of John LESLIE to Emma DIXON may be worth considering this should provide you with the details of Emma's father his occupation

John LESLIE
Jun qtr. 1879 Stepney London
Vol 1c page 846
names on same page
Emma DIXON
Mary Ann SLEEMAN

Do you have the birth certificate of Frances A DIXON born 1864 confirming her parents names?

There is a marriage for a
William DIXON
Dec qtr. 1863 Leeds

Emma RHODES

??? Think i have mixed myself up some were along the line.

I started off with Frances Amelia Dixon b1866 in Scarborough. she married James Frank Fielder in 1887. Thats all fine.

Then the only Frances i could find on the 1881 was Frances a Dickson born scarborough, living with her step father John Leslie and mother Emma. Then i dont know what i have done from there. Its awhile since i have looked at this part of the family. I must write things down better.

Thank u for ur time
