Weir Family - Dublin
« on: Sunday 24 April 11 14:09 BST (UK) »
Hello Listers,
I am wondering if anybody can shed any light on Ann Weir (born in Dublin in 1823-24) or her family. Ann is my 3rd GGM. She apparently ran away from family and sailed to Australia with a cousin aboard the "Bondina" from Dublin in 1840-1841 (I am unable to find any record of this ship). She had a son named John Weir born in 1841 and married a convict by the name of James Jones in St James church in Melbourne, Australia in April 1842.  I have no more information on her.

Many Thanks

Her parents names would have been on her marriage record to James Jones
