Despite almost house to house searching in 1881 I haven't found the whereabouts of my Ann Cassell under any name variation, either.
Even searching using her first name has been unsuccessful, so I can only presume that she was missed somehow.
Many transcribers mistake the double "s" method of Victorian writing as a "p", hence Capell but even that has been unfruitful.
My Ann died in 1906 in the Whitchurch, Hants reg dist.
I am glad that my enquiry has been of some help to someone else.
